Indian Educational Certificate or Document Attestation / Legalization from Embassy

Process 01

  1. Firstly the Educational Certificate or Document will be attested by the State Level Attestation Department. 
  2. Once the Educational Certificate or Document will be attested from the state level Attestation Department then this will be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) or Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). 
  3. Once the above two Attestation process are completed, then the Educational Certificate or Document will finally be attested or legalized by the Embassy in India. 

Process 02

  1. Firstly the Educational Certificate or Document will be attested by the Home Department, Mumbai (Mumbai Mantralaya). 
  2. Once the Educational Certificate or Document will be attested from the Home Department, Mumbai (Mumbai Mantralaya) then this will be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) or Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). 
  3. Once the above two Attestation process are completed, then the Educational Certificate or the Document will finally be attested or legalized by the Embassy in India. 
Note: 
  • On the whole, to complete the above mentioned all Attestation, Apostille or Legalization process of Educational Certificate or Document from Embassy, India it could take seven to ten working days (the normal time frame of Embassy Attestation or Legalization is itself three working days) and it may take some more or less time depending upon the transition and some other circumstances by the Embassy etc. 
  • Original Educational Certificate or Document is required, which to be attested or legalized from the Embassy in India, along with passport photocopy (first and last page) of certificate or document holder (s). 
  • Prior to Embassy Attestation or Legalization of the Educational Certificate or Document, an Attestation from Notary is mandatory. 
Indian Non Educational Certificate or Document Attestation / Legalization from Embassy

Process 01

  1. Firstly the Non-educational Certificate or Document will be attested by the State Level Attestation Department. 
  2. Once the Non-educational Certificate or Document will be attested from the state level Attestation Department then this will be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) or Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

  • A covering letter on the company’s letter head is required. The covering letter to be saluted “To, The Consular, Embassy, New Delhi”. The letter will be duly stamped and signed by the authorized person of the company. 
  • Prior to Embassy Attestation or Legalization of the Commercial Certificate or Document, an Attestation from Notary is mandatory. 
Indian Export Certificate or Document Attestation / Legalization from Embassy
